MileStone Community Builders’ president, Garrett Martin, announced today that the company has signed an agreement to build new homes in Cypress Creek located in Cedar Park, Texas.
The neighborhood is located just north of Austin, Texas in one of the fastest growing areas in the region.
MileStone projects that home prices will start in the $120′s, one of the lowest price points for new construction in Cedar Park. As a comparison, according New Home Source, an online database, most new home prices in Cedar Park start from the $160′s to $400′s.
Cypress Creek is within walking distance of Leander ISD schools, and minutes from Lakeline Mall, grocery stores, parks, professional sport venues, an Austin Community College campus, and Austin’s scenic Lake Travis.
Martin noted, “Cedar Park has great access to the Austin region because it’s served by an unusually convenient network of expanded roads including US 183 which provides north-south access; and Highway 45 which moves traffic east and west between 183 and Interstate 35.”
“From here it’s easy to get from downtown to Dell, from Lakeline Mall to the lake, and the community itself is really self-contained with every service imaginable within the city of Cedar Park,” Martin explained.
MileStone Community Builders is currently finalizing plans and pricing and hopes to have a marketing center open by the 4th quarter of 2009.
“Cedar Park has been attracting families for many years because of the exceptionally high quality of life,” Martin pointed out. “But now with Austin Community College, Lakeline Mall, shops, restaurants, and the new minor league hockey team, there’s every reason to believe Cedar Park is also attractive to young professionals. We have some ideas that will appeal to a wide variety of people who are interested in a low-maintenance lifestyle with a high level of quality features and finishes. It’s a very exciting project.”
